anyone here from Montreal didnt manage to attend the oath taking due to not in Montreal on the scheduled date.
i already informed IRCC and sent proof as per advice. Do they accept those reason? and how long does it takes for them to reschedule and send you invites again.
thanks

Hi - would like to reactivate this post ... I took and passed the test in Montreal on Jan 15; on Jan 17 noted "decision made," but the agent after my test said that the period of time for the oath invitation was 2-6 months. I would love to hear what experiences others have had with this -- are agents saying consistent things? Is a quick DM after the test a good sign? Thanks.

I was personally told by the officer on Feb 7th that the waiting time for oath ceremony would be 4 months. Let’s see if they stick to the timelime.

I did my citizenship test on January 31st in Montreal and I was told to hear back by latest August, which would be 6 months. It has said decision made since Monday February 12th online.

I got my decision made today, and I was told by the officer to wait between 2-4 months for my oath ceremony.

My wife had her DM on December 5. She’s been waiting since then.

A couple friends applied before her and after her (first was one week before her and second was one month after her). Both got their oath invite and have become citizen.
