No. It was back in Dec22nd. I had to re-do it again as I didn’t get the result the first time RCMP sent it. So I had to come back to RCMP and do the fingerprint on January30th. This time they sent it directly to CIC.

I am hoping so. I called on Wednesday but they said no records on the system yet that they got the result.

I passed my citizenship test on February 15 and interviewer said i will be getting oath letter in 3 months and she is waiting on my background checks. My fingerprint results have already been received as confirmed by agent.
What was she suggesting by background checks?

I think everybody goes through a background check after the interview. Nothing to worried about.

Thank you. How long it takes to get DM after interview and rest. Interviewer said everything is good except awaiting background checks, congratulated and said there will be email for oath letter in 3 months.
I thought background checks are run before test invite?
