Hi Ottawa2013, I hope you are good, I'm sorry I was so busy this days I couldn't login , actually l have a good news and bad news
The good news I called cic office this morning they said they send me the letter to take the ceremony this December 11th , and if I don't get it this week I have to call them again,
The bad news i didn't get any letter , I hope I'll get it today , good luck everyone

Yes this is happened in Ottawa , he is in normal process , I waited 6 months between application date and the test and 4 months and 20days between test date and the oath, ??? ??? ???

Congratulations.. don't worry about the letter at all.
In the worse case scenario if you don't get the letter by the 10th of Dec, then you Just show up the following day for you appointment with all your documents and it will be fine
They have a list of the applicant's who being invited so they will just check your identity and documents , you won't be the first ,it happened to few people , and if you see the update on your E-case then you should print it out and take it with you.

Welcome In , and it's very normal time frame for Ottawa office, prob 3 months after the approval of the application , I waited for 3 months after the test to get the Oath invitation, so relax it's on the way

No , i know her Oath appointment is scheduled for Dec,11, i was saying if she didn't receive the letter by the Dec,10th, then she would just show up the next day a bit early , and they will have her name on the list, it happened to few people and it went fine
