I received my oath ceremony letter today. It’s in Vancouver at Expo Boulevard office in mid August. I have a few questions though:
1. My letter doesn’t state how many guests I am allowed (potentially there will 3 people). Does anyone know what the maximum is for that office?
2. I searched for the ceremony on the federal website: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/CeremonySearch/search-recherche-eng.aspx
However my date and time are not listed. There are two others that day but not at my time...Is there a separate ceremony not open to the public?
3. It states I have to wait 3 business days to then apply for passport. If my ceremony is on a Friday, can I then apply for passport on the next Wednesday or Thursday?
4. I have two firms I have to sign and bring with me: Media Release Form and
Prohibitions Form - does everyone get these?
Anything else you might think would be good to know?
