Hi guys,
I just got an email from cic, saying that " this email is in response to an inquiry via the Call Center regarding the status of your application. Application is waiting review of an officer. Notification will be sent in due course. Thank you."

I am not so sure, what " due course" means?
Have you got similar email lately?
I called CIC once a month in the past three month, I am not so sure this email is in response to which call I made. Each time I called, the only thing I heard is " please wait". This time I got an email. This is new.

One thing for sure is my applicating is still WAITING for review of an officer
Yea I got that too past week

Excellent approach! We need to bring this to public attention. Way too much importance is given to refugee claimants. This is not fair to economic immigrants like us especially with so called provincial nomination!

I am outside of ca now, the process time here is 1 month to get visa. From visa office in your country

I think in canada will be faster right? Do you mean in issuing visa (COPR) after PPR?

I plan to go us soon, can i mail my passport to canada? What ? Are you saying you want to send your passport to Canada(by any means) for visa(COPR)? if yes, never ever do that it is illegal to send passports like that. You waited for 17 months wait for another month.

thanks a lot, it is hard call. I already booked my ticket to ca on May 9......Before having visa(COPR) in hand? Massive blunder!

I think maybe we shall not call CIC anymore? I am afraid that the contact will lead to further delay. What do you think?
The agents that answer the phone are not the same ones that process your file.

In other words, if you call, they are not stopping what they are doing to pick up your call.

So no delay for you calling.

You might get inspection when you enter Canada. You are clearly not coming for visiting purpose only and is clearly intended to stay. Very hard to say if they will actually let you in, but in the worst case, you will be denied entry. If they do let you in, you need to send email to CPC-O to let them know your situation. When you land, you will need to leave Canada and come back in.

In Canada, from PPR sent by Canada Post to receive CoPR is 2 weeks

I assume it should be faster in your local VO because of post delivery time. But things can vary widely across the world

I'm not in much favor of your plan, it has many visible trips and falls.
The PPR clearly mentions to inform VO/CIC of any changes in address etc. Moreover at any stage someone can pick you are doing a trick. Your plan has more risks compared to benefits. Think about it again, is it really worth because of non-refundable ticket?

I received my 3rd GCMS notes.noticed everything is fine but there is a part where it says A39-A41 non compliance: not started.

The check was created in Jan 8 and had a due date for February 5 but no progress was made. A log entry on my file showed officer saying ”assessed-sec review req'd" so when I asked them.about it again in my notes they whited that part out. I also noticed officer circled a part on my background history where I went for vacation for 3 months to Pakistan in 2015. He specifically circled the word unemployed where I wrote purpose of visit was unemployed vacation.

The other issue might be me writing 10000 dollars on schedule 4 which is under the required funds on approximately 12000. But since I am inland applicant with job offer I don't need to show proof of funds.

My CRIMINALITY passed, my background and medical not started. Any input will be appreciated as this has really been bothering me for the past few months.

You just received your AOR my friend few months ago. 3 GCMS notes already ! I guess you need to come back to this form around the 16 month timeframe. Don't worry you will be fine !

Lol I wasn't planning on 3 notes but the a39 a 41 kinda freaked me out. I even called the call centre Friday and they said that your application is fine don't worry.
