Takes at least a month or more to send PPR after the status change in my opinion.

Finally received confirmation letter of permanent residence yesterday

I contacted CIC to arrange an appointment to meet an immigration officer in Saskatoon, SK
However, the guy on the phone told me the meeting will happen about a month later from now
So, I decided to go to the border to make it quicker in this weekend

I wish good luck to all of you guys!!

I checked several borders and the closest one is 4h drive distance for one way trip

I got my GCMS notes yesterday and can someone help me understand it:

Text: "File reviewed. No apparent A35/A37 concerns evident. File approved and RFV"

few minutes later another note was created:
Label: Adm
Text: "File reviewed. No apparent A35/A37 concerns evident."

But my status still shows Background check in progress since Jan 11.

From my understanding of this note, everything looks good.

A35/A37 is about War crime/Human rights violation/Crime against humanity/Organizational crime etc. So, no concerns on your file.

I'm a Nov 13 applicant and my due date is February 14, 2017. Relax, PPR email is coming soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon ;D ;D ;D
But my status still shows Background check in progress since Jan 11.

Mine took about 2 months but it has Christmas breaks in between. So I'll say about a month and half maybe?

4. MR Jan 14th, 2017
5. Gave Medical on Jan 18th, 2017
6. Medical results have been received. (Around Jan 28th)
7. PPR ? - Waiting

Most of Nov and Dec applicants still waiting for PPR despite having MR in Nov. I think you should wait 3-5 months.

Took exactly 2.5 months for me but it differs from case to case.

Background check changed to in progress. It took exactly 2 months after my medicals.
