You definitely should extend your visa... Based on words from other threads, those people don't work for both Dec and Jan...

I guess you were never in ss. I got a response from the minister's office last Friday that my ss is still pending at Ottawa case processing office. Not sure why it is at Ottawa now not at cio?

So ministère told you that were in ss? Maybe you were. The person who responds must be at a minimum a lawyer and can't be giving inaccurate info on behalf of the minister. How long did it take you to get ppr/dm since your file went to Ottawa case processing office? Or since you got the response from minister's office?

Yes, I think you'd better do it now. When I extended my work permit, it took 3 months to issue it.

No, they don't work on Christmas season. They have one month holiday.
