Hello everyone ,
How are you all? We submitted our application (spousal sponsorship) on October 27, 2011 and CPC-Mississauga received our application on November 2, 2011. We received the letter of approval for stage 1 on February 7, 2012. Current online status of our application is "Decision made and medical results have been received. It's been 4 months since we have submitted our application and just wondering how long it might take before he could land. I'm from Toronto and my husband is from Bangladesh. Thanks.

What is your status under Permanent Resident Application ? Where you see medical result has been received?

Thanks for your input. When I log in to check my application status online, I see the following :

Client Application Status > Permanent Residence > We received your application for permanent residence on November 2, 2011.
Medical results have been received.

That's how I see my application status online. How long did it take to receive the request for your passport after doing your medical? Thanks.

Thanks for your input. When I log in to check my application status online, I see the following :

Client Application Status > Permanent Residence > We received your application for permanent residence on November 2, 2011.
Medical results have been received.

That's how I see my application status online. How long did it take to receive the request for your passport after doing your medical? Thanks.

This is normal. You have to wait until process start begin. Some time at the beginning medical result shows and will disappear with in 2 weeks. If you see IN Process and medical result receive then is good sign to receive passport request.

My wife is a single mother in Toronto. She and our daughter passing very difficult time as she works in the evening and daughter has to stay in many places while she is at work. She is planing to write a letter to Singapore V.O. explaining her situation and requesting a kind consideration to our file processing. DO you think it would do any good?

they do not care that kind of consideration. CIC/CHC Singapore may or may not consider family doctor request if any health effect due to processing time. IF any other way i do not know.

Hi Mirjahan,

By any chance do you know if they send any letter of acknowledgement to the sponsored person from Singapore when they receive the Application for Permanent Resideonce from CPC - Mississauga after the Application for Sponsorship ( stage 1 ) has been approved? Did you get any? Thanks.
