I was on work permit prior to getting PR so my physical presence in canada is a combination of both “time on work permit”(half day counted) and PR. Do we need to submit any documents as Proof of Physical Presence for citizenship application ? I did not see anywhere in application that any document needs to be submitted so wanted to confirm…

i am in BG and Prohibition pending for months. How did you get the Grant review PM03 status?
Any update for anyone who’s stuck on BG and prohibition? How do I order my notes? Is it a good time to contact the MP? I might need to leave the country for some time but not sure if that would jeopardize the processing. I can come back for the ceremony but I am just lost and not sure what to do

Update (probably final). My wife received her passport after many complications due to it. We are both finally done with both citizenship and passport. We are currently in the USA for probably the next 5 years or so. My intention is to move back to Toronto at that time.
Order notes now from both IRCC and CBSA .. it wont have any impact on ur file.. u will know ur status and would know how to move forward (i.e. Mandamus) etc.

This just a little rant, I am not saying that I understand the IRCC internal process but it does seem odd seeing people who applied beginning of this year already getting their oath invitations. While a large number of 2024 and 2023 applicants are still waiting. The sad part is that we can’t get any answers, you can never know why your app has been stuck for months, you can’t do anything to speed it up, the MP can’t do anything either, and the waiting timeline is indefinite but you are not allowed to complain.
My last call with them the customer representative they said (even if we pass the processing time for your application, BG and prohibition is something that is handled by another entity and we have no say in it. Even if it was outside of the processing time) so technically they could take years and there’s still nothing I can do to change that.

This is pretty much exactly the same as PR applications; neither have ever been first-in / first-out procedures. Some take longer than others.
Yes, unfortunately the security and related clearances are taking a lot longer. Not all, but some.

quick question to you guys, I am a Jan applicant, and had applied for ATIP notes. I received them and under "ASSESSMENTS" on pg. 2/3 it says "PAPER FILE" Office: Vancouver Citizenship; and then Location: Grant Interview Ready In-Person Interview
