qq,when you took passport photo in US,i took mine in UPS and rejected by Canada passport department since it had no name and date of passport photo taken,mine had only name and expiration date.
 
I got a ghost update today. My tracker is showing a new update but nothing has changed. Prohibitions and background still in progress and ceremony not started. No emails as well. Anyone knows what this means?
 
Hi I would like to ask a simple question. For additional detail of last 2 years, the first from date is the date 2 years ago from now, for example now is May 2025 so from date for first line should be May 2023 ?
Am I correct ? Or the real date when doing job ?

You mean your job started more than two years ago? Put the real start date not a fake start date of exactly two years ago. They know that people have jobs or schooling etc that aren’t exactly two years from now.

It seems like oaths for people with LPP are moving, but LPP isn't moving. :(

Really strange how they’re handling all of this. I’m not an expert, but it seems like they’re clearing out backlogs with the citizenship ceremonies that’s how it looks to me. As you can see on the forum, there are lots of posts about oath ceremonies but very few about LPP clearance. Still, the total number of applicants is much larger, so this can’t really be taken as solid data.

In 9 days, it will have been 3 months since test completed (with BG complete prior) for my wife, without LPP started.

I think I was fortunate that my primary office was Sydney they completed their part efficiently. But my citizenship test was handled by the Vancouver office, and it took them a month just to review it.
