Hi everyone, did anyone experience sending their fingerprints by RCMP online? They called me and told me that they had an error in the system the first time and asked me to come and do it again, so I did. They gave me a copy of a piece of paper to proof that it was sent online so I am not sure what's next? If I receive a hard copy do i mail it myself? my tracker has not been updated since i took my test but everything just says "in progress" - any thoughts?

It goes online directly to RCMP and they mail it out to IRCC. I don't think you need to do anything. but I'll let others chime in.

You should call RCMP to ask whether your FP include a request to forward result to Vancouver. If the answer is yes so it's good, just need to follow up after 3 weeks. If the answer is no, then you need to send that hard copy by yourself and submit a webform with all information you have (FP transaction record + DHL/UPS/CanPost receipt).

Hi

I got e-certificate download instructions today. But my LPP is still in progress. Does that mean moving LPP to completed and oath scheduling happens all together? Can I expect sometime this week?

You should call RCMP to ask whether your FP include a request to forward result to Vancouver. If the answer is yes so it's good, just need to follow up after 3 weeks. If the answer is no, then you need to send that hard copy by yourself and submit a webform with all information you have (FP transaction record + DHL/UPS/CanPost receipt).

Thank you, they gave me a proof of sending but i am not sure if that's enough.

Another thing is my test status is still in progress even though It was completed almost a month ago. is this normal?

I got invited to the direct passport application pilot from Calgary where you don't even need a guarantor and you submit it ahead of time. They just mail you the passport as soon as your citizenship is complete, then.

Sadly, I can't use it, since it requires you to be residing in Canada. That would have been really cool; I didn't even know they were still running that pilot.

Looks like online oath I got e-certificate download instructions. But waiting for actual oath email instructions. Any idea how long it takes to get actual oath instructions via email?

The processing speed of pilot is comparatively slower then normal passport application process. That's a disadvantage.
