Hi has anyone got a GU on Feb 1st?
I’m surprised because it’s Saturday…

I’ve got a GU on 28th, the tracker updated to test in progress and test window on 30th.
My last updated was showing Jan 30 since then.
I haven’t received the email instructions yet.

What was your test learning process?

Hello, two questions:

1. I received test invite and BG and others are in progress. Does this mean I will surely have to give finger prints?
2. If so, I am currently working remotely for a few weeks and then ill be on a much needed vacation. Will I be able to give my finger prints abroad at some embassy and VAC for the citizenship process?

1. It may happen. If you lucky it might just get completed without FP too.
2. Latest FP email states that you need to submit in within Canada only.

Only Discover Canada, thrice read . Each and every question within that.

Hello. Just took the test and got 19/20 in the first attempt. My wife got 15/20 in the first attempt. As per the rules, if the results are accepted and validated we both passed but the page says the results are provisional. How and when will we know for sure the results have been validated and accepted as final?

Please Check the requirements. Not sure you can take the test outside of Canada.

Thanks for letting me know. My letter didnt state that I had to take it online while in Canada. I googled it and i noticed that some people applications get delayed because of taking the test outside. I already have my vacation planned out and now is stressing me out. I wonder what I should do.

If you are going to be back in Canada it won't cause much issue. Many just go through all the citizenship process outside of Canada and that complicates the processing with IRCC asking them for a return date, interview etc.

My test date will expire before I return, so only option is to take it from outside Canada.

I took it outside Canada. My letter also did not contain that "must take it in Canada" provision; I believe they removed it recently.

I applied from Calgary, but my application is being processed in Vancouver. They marked it complete in a little over a week with no issues.
