Doesnt everything completed mean decision made? @italiano1987 if you login to ecas (not the new tracker) does it show in process or decision made? Would help to know where your file is stuck on and reach out to them about it

Yeah, you're right. Sorry, never occurred to me to check the old tracker. Yeah, it's Decision Made, I guess it was made when they checked everything off. Still waiting on the oath. It's been 9 months. Everyday now I get the feeling it's coming, but nope lol

Hello guys, so this long journey has finally come to an end for me. To be honest It got frustrating since the pandemic started but let me tell you at the end you will forget all the frustration and becoming a canadian citizen will be the only thing you remember. I hope each and every ones citizenship journey ends soon and you guys become citizens. Just hang in there tight and next will be your turn. All the best to each and everyone and thank to each one of you for helping me and others in this journey with queries.

Fingerprint Request:- March 3,2020 Fingerprint done/ submitted:- March 4,2020
Online Test Invite Date:- Feb 22,2021
Test done:- March 9,2021 (Passed)
Second Fingerprint request:- March 25,2021 which was sent by me again.
Decision Made: September 14,2021
***Oath***:Jan 6,2022 (Attended) (Please note I was scheduled for an earlier Oath on December 22,2021 but never received an email and was rescheduled to Jan 6,2022)
Citizenship file closed:- Jan 7,2022.
Citizenship Certificate: Received on Jan 21,2022

Tracker says ‘complete’ for everything except oath ceremony, which says ‘not started’
ECAS says ‘does not recognize me” , using the UCI number from tracker, and Dob and place of birth.
so no idea now ?

Collected my mail Jan 26th
Applied for Passport Jan 27th

Living in Edmonton now, it was mailed from the Scarborough office.

So the last update was on April 23, 2021 which I am not sure what it is. My fingerprints are probably expired already long time ago and I have not been asked to resubmit them.

My MP also contacted them in Nov 2021 and I was told by my MP's office that they are waiting on security checks.

On my GCMS notes I can see that it says criminality clearance : passed

I do not know what is going on.

I know few people who applied in 2021 and they are even done with citizenship and oath..how terrible that people like us who applied in 2019 are still waiting for citizenship test.

It take them 3.5 weeks to process 2 weeks period. This was updated on Jan 25th, the next expected update would be February 10th more or less. Someone started documenting the period to analyze pattern
