If you already have a medical exam you can send along with application. With the recent process to go for a medical exam you need a medical exam request from CIC which contains UCI number. Usually medical is done after they request you to do so.
It's been down since about 8am GMT I believe, just popped back up in the last ten mins.

Could please someone clarify for me how to know whether you received AOR2? Recently, I got update on ECAS (PA), that they started processing my spouse's application, however, no official AOR2 received. Is that unofficial AOR2? I am very confused.

It depends on your local visa office, Mississauga are known for not sending AOR2 via email but you'll notice that ECAS (as yours has) will change to say that the apllication is now processing. You may find you get an email in a couple of days.

GCKEY will change to 'We are processing your background checks"
What is the next step after AOR2?
Decision Made on ECAS --> Passport Request --> Confirmation of Perminent Residency
What does PPR means? Passport request?
Yes, Passport request.
How long does it take between AOR2 and PPR?
This varies case by case, it could be weeks, it could be months.

I think GCKEY is down, not been able to access it this morning beyond the main page. When I click to check the full application, it just goes to bad gateway.

I think it's a system wide issue for CIC - ECAS, GCKEY etc have all had issues this morning.
