Looooong silence, after 6 month deadline : wrote to 3 MPs, requested notes 23 Aug 19 from GetGCMS (never received), felt despair
Remed Request 26 Sept 19
Updated police clearance Request 27 Sept 19
Re Meds done 11 Oct 19
PPR 18 Oct 19

Appreciate everyone's support and transparency, I cannot believe how positive and kind this forum is, really amazing.

Question : We are now no longer living in the country from which we applied (we did update our address in webform when we moved), but of course the email gives directions for original country. How do we deal with this ?

U got the medicals done on 11 October?
So, u mean it took only 7 days to upload & review the medicals and then issue ppr as well within 7 days?????

Yea, this is the general trend. Ottawa is clearing and updating the medicals within 1-2 days after upload. Once cleared, PPR is being issued within 2-3 days.

Again, this is the general trend. However, a few people have not received PPR after clearing medicals.

It's elections in Canada on 21st October.
But no holiday for them
I hope they still work on our files. I'm in a lot of stress. My application turns 11 mos tomorrow and no sign of RFV mail yet..:(

Did you try writing to them or calling them? Sometimes some people don't end up receiving the mail in their mailbox even after IRCC sends it. I think you should find out, if you haven't already.

I sent a CSE this morning asking about the status of my application since I passed the remeds on Sept. 30. It's either (I'm hoping) I get the RFV mail first or their response to my case specific enquiry. I just wanted to get the PPR soonest so as to lift this anxiety that I'm feeling from waiting and wondering if there is still any issues with my file.

First of all, congrats!

This was our case too. Send a webform updating your address and explaining your situation. I got a new RFV letter in my account after a week. :)
