Hello, my AOR is Nov-28. Recently, i called my local MP to follow up my application. Here is the details:
- Criminalities and medicals have passed

- Securities have not begun

- Eligibility is in process

- File looks good – no additional documents required

I used to call IRCC customer service end of Jan. Got exactly the same answer. Why my eligibility check need so long?

Ok, that's a relief.

About the Visa office, dumb question alert, but how do I know which is my Visa Office. I had already started my application with a consultant in Pune, India and then realized it was not necessary but since I had already started the process so went with it. Hence a bit handicapped in terms of info.

Hi,

You can call and the agent will tell you.You will need your EE number for that.Or raise a CSE here:
https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

Can someone please help me clarify? I entered the Express Entry pool in the FSW-O stream and received a provincial nomination from Nova Scotia while in it. The additional points resulted in my ITA. Would I still be considered FSW-O stream or PNP stream?

Mine is the same AOR date, and same status. There are many backlog files dating back to August 2018 that are probably more time sensitive. There is nothing to worry about if eligibility is taking long, as i'm positive that its nothing personal - but just that, they probably kept our files on the back burner while tackling the old ones.

Side note, we are AOR Twinsies! :)

I just want to make sure that i do not missing any documents to affect such delay. You're right, stay positive, wait for our round. Maybe it is PPR very soon!

Oh I forgot to update the status. It just activated today evening for me. It is being sent from Quebec for some reason. I called them up TWICE today to let them know this is not a mere paper document but a passport and how crucial AND risky it is to send across borders.

They understood it. The first CIC call I made was in the morning and she raised a note and told me I'll get it in a month lol .. I had a trip planned within US but wanted to receive my PP before that and hence I made another call and told them to ship it.

I am still waiting for them to activate my Fedex return shipping label.

Best wishes to everyone here! I hope everyone waiting gets their golden email very soon!

Called IIRC today. Forst try was no luck, got an agent who wouldn't say anything at all. Kept repeating that he sees what I see only.

Second call was successful. Very nice agent told me that nothing moved since last call. BG still in progress, since Dec. I asked why, he said cause it's not done by IRCC ...
Eligibility and Security not started.
He also said that a fact that my passport is gonna be 6m to expiry next month can be negative and depending on the agent they can reject the application or ask for new passport.

I'm really losing my mind now:(

this is same for everyone....so better call and see if they can tell u about Eligibility pass or in progress...

yes, your score gets locked.

In my GCMS notes its mentioned about my birthday which came in between my ITA and AOR so 5 points deducted. They will verify everything.
Points deducted? are you sure?? Because as per latest Ministerial instructions if your age decreases your points between ITA to AOR, you still receive those points regardless....
