That means some aspect of your application related to eligibility, background, medical etc., has been updated. You may find a little change in the status description on the lines of "...yet to begin" to "we are processing.." It's a good sign that someone has recently picked up your file.

Application/profile updated may also mean that you may have received a request letter for additional information or just fee payment.

Login to your account to see what the update is about.
I did check, nothing changed in the messages. Again it changed to submitted, may be program glitch.

Aside from ordering GCMS notes, raising a CSE webform or calling IRCC directly, what else can we do for the agents to pick up our files if we already crossed and exceeded the 6 months' timeline? (The answer might be to WAIT but the anxiety is killing me) Any ideas?
I have read from whatsapp group to email Ralph Goodale. I don't even know if anyone has tried that and succeeded in speeding up the process.

Hello All,

I am posting this with utmost frustration.
AOR 28th Nov 18, completed 6 months yesterday.
Called them 8 times and finally managed to speak to an agent named Caroline after being on line for 40 odd minutes.
She was polite, but she (just like the last 2 agents) told me that my file is not yet touched. When I asked the reason why as 6 months is done now, said she has no idea, probably because it is summer and they might be relaxing!!!! Just imagine...how unprofessional of her!
She told me to wait till July end and IF there is no update by them contact them again..(What a joke!!!)
I requested her to send a reminder to the case officer to which she replied that they have very strict rules and can only send a reminder once July end passes...!!

My concern/complaint is....I am ok to wait but the reason I am waiting is I my file is not touched and nothing has started for me..because these people are so irresponsible to start working on my file. Now they want me to again wait for 60 days unless someone is kind enough to show pity on us and pick our file up (god knows then what will happen, ADR, RR, SS)

This is height of negligence when they are merely issuing PPR to applicants from Jan, Feb and March now..!!! My file is still in Ottawa.
Even I requested for GCMS notes from CIC website back on 29th April and 30 days mark reached today.

I am in double thoughts if I should raise a complaint against the way they are fooling around with our time and our emotions.

What should I do?
If I raise a complaint I guess I can only do that via web-form. What do you think would be the repercussion?

Shall I withdraw my application??

Please guide me.

On my COPR it says the destination city as Toronto. But I booked my ticket to Vancouver. I am going as a express entry FSW outland applicant from India. Is it okay to land in Vancouver? Or should I change my destination to Toronto as mentioned in my coPR?
When does your VIsa expire? The same day your medical expires?

You can google him. I have no idea. I just came upon him as he was mentioned in the whatsapp group I am in. Just like you, I feel frustrated that my file is still not touched. My AOR is nov 22 and it feels like forever! I am PNP applicant and it's terrible because my application has been checked in the provincial stage and I wonder why they are taking so long in this so called "Express Entry" .. but not really EXPRESS!

Hello
I understand your frustration very well. As I will be completing my 180days tomorrow but the worse thing is that my file is at local visa office, so I cant even call IRCC and ask for update and LVO dont reply to any update emails.

The way lady talked to you was so unprofessional and it seems like they are enjoy taking all calls just to hear stress, despration and sadness in our voices. Seems like they are enjoying every bit of it by not providing any answers.
Ahhhh too frustrating.

But dont think about withdrawing your file now as you had waited so long, so may be just hold your patience for bit long.

I hope some miracle happen and we all november folks get our ppr soon.
I am so over this process and it make feel so stressed after reading in forum that people are even getting rejection's after 7 or 8 months.

Just hope for best.
Good luck

Dear members

What exactly is the significance of due date in GCMS notes?

My A11.2 was completed on 18th Dec by a Program Assistant and then a Case Processing Agent with eligibility as met, and no red flags. However, it seems that nobody has touched my file post that. My AOR is Nov 4 and the due date mentioned on the first page of the notes is June 20, 2019. Does this mean that there is a high chance that I may receive the PPR by that date?

p.s. My notes were generated on May 22, 2019 and I received them on May 24. I had applied for the notes on April 25.

@Upasana I can completely understand and feel your frustration and pain..their way of processing is becoming very careless and that was an unprofessional way to talk to you,you should send a reminder for your notes if 30 days are over, though these days they take 35 days to complete.
I also thought of withdrawing my application but at this stage,we can’t especially when BG check is in process.
We all need extra dose of patience, god knows when that coveted mail will be in our inbox.
But I agree they should atleast give a reason and an exact date now as to when our decision will be executed.
