GCKEY updated showing that the application is officially accepted! Very excited. Unfortunately another shipping hiccup means we won't be seeing the COPR for quite a while yet, but it's still great to see the online update.

We received PPR on May 1st from the London Visa Office as my partner is Irish moving back to Canada with me. Our file was kept in Mississauga. Because Ireland is a Visa exempt country with Canada we only had to send a copy of his passport. We had a hiccup with the pictures required and sent the wrong ones. So after resubmission of the requested pictures we got final approval yesterday the 17th of May.
Hi, what was the issue with the pictures? Getting pictures done in the US is really difficult. I just sent mine off and I'm hoping they will be okay.

Anyone having or had there apps processed at mexico vo??
Yes, We are November 8th, we heard April 30th asking for Police Certificates. Unfortunately, we had to get new ones because the ones we got were now expired. But we have submitted them now, but we haven't been notified that "Background Check is in process" yet. Since hearing from them they have been very prompt with email replies, so that is good news! Good luck, sounds like you should hear shortly!

AOR 1 - November 30, 2017
FILE NUMBER RECEIVED - January 26, 2018
MEDICAL REQUEST - February 12, 2018
My husband received an email stating that our documents will now be forwarded to Manila Visa Office - March 7, 2018
MEDICAL EXAM TAKEN - February 17, 2018
MEDICAL EXAM RECEIVED FROM CIC - First week of March
NOTIFICATION THAT MEDICAL EXAM PASSED - Second week of March

I havent heard anything for almost 3 months now from the IRCC or from MANILA VISA OFFICE where they emailed my husband offering me jobs from one of the big canadian employers since my permenent residence is on process. I have read threads here that they get their visas in 6 months or less. It really amazed me that they havent waited that long to finally get their visa. We have high hopes that our application will soon be ok and our visa is imminent.

We also got DM today on ECAS! Our application was delivered November 20th, VO is Mississauga, Common law, with police certificate from Germany and Japan. No change yet on GCkey, at the beginning of the week I only noticed passed medical (I had some issues with the medical, because I did an upfront medical as I needed one in order to work as a health professional, then they wanted me to do another one, no-one answered my questions, I ended up getting the medical results from my doctor and uploaded them instead of undergoing a new examination, and then it took nearly two months to finally see "medical passed" :) ) as well as "started background check". Now I cannot wait to see what monday might bring :)

Hello everyone. I'm just wondering where I'm at in the application process. Everything I've found doesn't seem to match up with the order I'm getting things (I know it can vary from person to person). My husband is a Canadian citizen sponsoring me, our application was received November 30th 2017. I submitted my medicals a week after requested (February 14 medical exam was taken). My husband did not receive a sponsor approval but did receive a letter stating my case will be processed in Mississauga. On his ecas, it says "decision made" under the sponsorship column.

Here's what my online account and ecas look like as of today:

Thank you guys for all of your informational posts, it's really helped us a lot in filing our paperwork! :)
Hi we have the same timeline. May i know the status of your application? In our case with my husband, its almost 3 months since we last heard from IRCC. The last notification was when the immigration have already received our medical result and we passed last second week of march 2018.

I’m from the U.S. From what I’ve seen on this forum, current trends are 4-5 months from the time it’s received to decision made. Between when my account showed that I had passed my medicals and decision made, there wasn’t much changes and no emails as far as I can remember. The only time it’s changed is when my background check went in progress on gckey. Has that updated for you?

No update yet as of this time. We are nov 30, 2017 applicant and its been 6 months already since the time they received our application. During the first few months, our application ran so fast. Last jan 24 we received our file number, jan 25, Sponsor approval. Feb 17, medical exams done. Feb 28, cic made an update that we passed the medicals. March 7, they informed us that our application has been forwarded to Manila Visa office for further processing. After that, its been 3 months now since the last time they gave an update. There were no additional documents requested like Schedule A and PCC since we already submitted it together with the other documents last year in November. I just made a conclusion in my mind based on the forums i have read that american and european countries are processing faster than in our country.
