Has anybody here asked to provide passport translation at interview?
Have you heard from them after you sent them the translations?
Almost 6 months has passed from my interview and test, but nothing happened yet!
What the offcer said when you interview and you can call cic to make sure

Hi,

Still waiting for my oath swearing ceremony since writing and passing the test May 14th. Anyone in the same boat? Here is my timeline per ECAS:

  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 6, 2018.
  3. We started processing your application on March 6, 2018.
  4. We sent you a notice on April 26, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on May 14, 2018 at 10:15 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Tons of congratsss, where you a Mississauga office and transferred you to Scarborough?
Yes. I have contacted the CIC earlier in July and they told me that my file has been transferred from Mississauga to Scarborough and that I should receive the correspondence soon. "Soon" means almost two months.

Hello Everyone..

After a long wait, I finished my Oath in Mississauga office..

Finally become Canadian Citizen.. took 8+ years to this entire journey... started with Work Permit, PR and then interruption because of the policy change, and again reverted back to 3/5 rule by the time when we actually got eligibility to apply, took 9 months after applying and took 4 months of DOM...
Hi Admin,

Please update the excel sheet with my status.
I finished my Oath on August 28th, 2018. Completed in Mississauga office.. even though I did my test earlier in Scarborough location.

Hi,
i am in the same boat... I did the test the last April 27th and i am still In Process... at the interview they told me that they could not see any complication with my application... but still not even the DM. Last week I asked for the ATIP, I am still waiting for it too.

I moved to europe for a period to stay close to my family for few months... and i am scared that this could affect my citizenship process even if it should not....
