Second that. My GCMS states Citizenship granted, awaiting oath since like 4 months now. Mass ceremonies would have definitely helped a lot. There are tons whose everything is done, just waiting for a date to be accommodated for oath. But as you rightly said, govt. is busy with.................... processing study permits of dubious students so that the second grade education industry can continue to serve as a cash cow and help these dubious students become citizens eventually and........................... Anyways put it on autopilot and doze off.

Glad to see some movement! A few people a little after me have started to get invites now so hopefully I'll be up soon! Want to get it done and dusted so I can go to my uncle's wedding at the end of September! Congratulations to everyone who's waited so patiently.

Hello all,


Finally it’s happening! I got an invitation via email yesterday Friday Aug 17 for the Oath on Friday Sept. 7 in Mississauga Office

My app. was recieved 30 Nov 2017
I had the test Mar 15 in Scar., and the DM same day as stated on the invitation.

All the best for you all. Hopefully soon all will get their Oath

I suppose to travel the week following the oath so wish me luck to get the passpost on time so I can attend a family wedding

Long wait but worth it! :)
