February 9 they asked for advisory on marriage which I already provided a month before that and they confirmed they did when I emailed them to inquire. Also the right of permanant resident fee they asked for

How did you send your AOM? Through email or do you send it to VFS office personally?
Maybe they will ask my AOM and birth certificate soon.

Thank you! Yes, well I jumped the gun because I just received an email saying that our application has been processed and we've been approved for Permanent Residence!!!!!!

Now my question to you all is this (and I have emailed the Sydney immigration office, but I assume you all may be faster )

We are dual passport holders, U.S. and Australian, currently living in Perth, Australia. As a U.S. citizen I don't need a visa and would only have to mail photocopies of our passport pages. As an Aus citizen we need a visa and therefore need to mail our physical passports to Sydney for processing. We are due to fly out on April 15th. Will it be processed and returned to me quickly enough? Since we're travelling to the U.S first and then Canada, we were planning to travel on U.S. passports anyway, but I don't want to leave without Aus passports back in hand. Or should we have Aus passports mailed back to an address in the U.S?

I am very excited that we got PR before we left and am amzed at how quickly we processed. FYI, it was out of the Ottawa VO

I'm also wondering how fast Sydney VO works. We were processed in Ottawa but we applied from Aus (However now we're in Italy). We were requested to mail copy of passport to Sydney also. Good Luck

Hey again, I was just checking for my partner, and as an Aus Citizen you only require an ETA to enter Canada therefore you can email a photocopy of the passport to the SYD VO.

Our ECAS says decision made as well, but the CIC hasnt updated, background check still in process. but we did get an email saying our application has been approved as well.

Does the PPR come as an email or physical letter? Anyone know how long after the PPR until you get permission to land? Our office is Ottawa as well.

Hi,
We had DM on the 8/3 and got out PPR email 9/3 we have 30 days to post our info to the VO and until you land, you have a year from whe. You did your medical. Hope that helps

we haven't gotten an email yet so hopefully sometime soon next week! We will do the PPR as qiuickly as we can and we're hoping to land in May.

Thank you so much to you and everyone on this forum. I have been reading this religiously. I will definitely update the timeline once I get to a computer. It has helped me on my hard days. It felt like the days drag on forever. You check these websites every few hours and always nothing changes until one day it does.... This is one of the best days of my life. I finally get to go home to Canada to my family with my husband. It doesn't even feel real. Thank you everyone. Your stories and support helped us all so much.

was an interview requested? did you ignore multiple requests for documents? if not, then it's positive. they can't legally reject an application without giving you the chance to respond to their concerns or have multiple requests gone unanswered.

i sent it through email in pdf format a month before they requested additional documents, when i did get additional documents it did ask for the AOM again and the right of permanent resident fee..it gave three options, either my email or mycic... so i uploaded it to mycic thinking it be quicker but i didn't hear back or no change on mycic....so i emailed manila vo asking if they received my AOM a month before and if i have to to send the right of permanent fee receipt to mycic or email..... so they replied with this
