Hi! Would like some perspective from other people. We landed on July 14th at Niagara Falls(rainbow bridge) and awaiting PR card. The problem is that we had booked vacation outside of Canada way before and now we don't know if we can re enter Canada without PR card? Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is there any one time document to re enter the country? Should we just cancel ? Everything is non refundable. Does anyone know how we can contact CIC for email? Thanks in advance!

u can only re- enter canada(without PR card) by land (car) or just call up cic

Any one waiting for meds / rprf arround my time line :(
i have applied GCMS on June 28 and waiting for it and
also emailed to CIC on July 11th if i missed any communication , no reply yet.

You can try emailing them at ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca. address and ask for your request status.

Has anyone encountered a problem whereby on your COPR the date of original entry is wrong and once you have landed the officer didn't change it.

In my case my original date of entry was July 21, 2011 and on my COPR it was January 20, 2014 (which is impossible cuz how would I have satisfied 12 months of CEC). Anyways I landed everything is OK but I just noticed it and the officer didn't correct it?

I know that lots of ppl have mistakes in that field but has anyone got it corrected by the officer while landing? I know it is just another paranoia of mine but I wanna avoid questions in future. Should I call CIC and remind them to change it to 2011?

I sent a not but there is no response from them.

sorry. I hope i receive mine on time.

I landed as a pr today! My CPR had 1 error - original entry date was wrong, so I told the officer and he changed it for me, so hopefully all is good. Can I submit a "rushed permanent resident card" application now?
