My spouse study permit is expiring on 30th july and my work permit on 30th Sept

MR done 20-Jun-14 (Dr. Richard Chan, 741 Broadview Ave, Toronto; $190 each applicant and $10.35 extra in case you have High BP; He will send you to 855 Broadview Ave, for X Rays. He collects $150 at his office and $40 will be collected at Xray)

I think it random. But most probably, we can expect a PPR after 10 days of medical received status. I got it in 5 days

100% agree. The bottle neck seems to be ECAS updating to Medicals Received.

I really hope you are right... We can only hope, for as previous posters have pointed out, the timelines can be a little random ???. However, having said that, I think next week will be a good week for November applicants who did their medicals in May or earlier (aka upfront). Fingers crossed.

I am very happy to let you know that I have just received the MR for my wife and myself! I booked my medical appointment for Tuesday, June 24 with Dr Cheema in Surrey BC. Here is my timeline:

Application received: November 21, 2013
MR: June 20, 2014

Please let me know if any of you have done his/her medical with this doctor.

Mine was uploaded on 22nd May. However, it doesn't show on ecas yet..... I don't know whats going on... My friend filed his PR on December 2nd, received medicals on 27th May has already got PR...... CIC guys.... Hurrry up !!

Agreed with Ukulele..... We all are aware about the processing time however it is harder to resist when you know that few get their application processed faster with no obvious reason. At times, we need to plan certain things which you cannot because of this.

I hear you Ukulele... hope things get better next week.... Just got a call from my another friend who received his PPR last week even though he filed his application under CEC on 17 Dec
