coby - do you have any idea what would be the reason ?
Anything is worng or this type of deviations happen in general ? I see people whose application recvd after mine got their CC charged and got AOR too Do i need to worry?

Don't worried just wait up to 40 days from application received if ur package is ok mean u provide all required document than you will get aor soon.

There certainly seems to be no pattern. But one thing i notice is that the AoR email normally comes after normal work hours.

I have sent my application with a employer reference letter which doesn't have NOC code mentioned out there. Though all the duties are mentioned properly as per NOC code 2174 and same noc code has been listed there in all other forms but not in employer reference letter.

1) Do you guys think that an employer reference letter without NOC code is a problem?
2) The checklist that I sent with the document is the one that was on site before nov 9th.
3) Haven't mentioned UCI code on my application form.
4) I have attached all my work permits. After expiry of my first workpermit in feb 2011 I applied for extension. But when I got my extended WP it was applicable form June 2012 though I was on payroll of company and working in a legal status. Have all the payslips but haven't sent them to CIC. I sent the payslips of last 6 months i.e when I went to canada in nov 2012 to may 2013.

I get to know about above mentioned glitches in my application as soon as I started reading this forum.
I won't be eligible to re apply after May.
Need your input guys.

I have attached all my work permits which have the UCI code on it. Do you think that it is such a big issue to mention UCI. I have filed for workpermits in past but never mentioned UCI and always gets it successfully on the same UCI.
Though In this particular case while filing PR application I forgot to put it in my forms thinking on the same line.

I sent in my application on Nov 20, 2013, my CC was charged that day for the fee and I received my AOR on Nov 21,2013. So far there has been no change in status, my online status has remained the same since the 21st.
Application Status: Open
A final decision has been reached: Not started

This was submitted online as well.
I have checked the application processing time page and it shows they are working on application submitted the week of Nov 22,2013. I am hoping that mine will be reviewed and some word given as to my status soon.
Is this normal?
I have also tried to find a number to call CIC, but the only number is for inside Canada, I am in the USA and have had no luck finding a working number, if anyone has a number that works from the US please pass it on.

What are your thoughts on this process?
