Why would there be a holiday effect when the holidays haven't even started yet? ???

From previous posts i understand that,you don't need to wait for AOR(Its better to have one) before applying BOWP... When they open your BOWP ,CIC pfficer can check status of your application and by that time yous application gets processed you MIGHT( ) be able to get BOWP(Of course 4 months rule still applies).

its based on you situation to take risk.

I know I could have applied before getting AOR. But I was waiting, in case my application is rejected without AOR, then I would have asked my employer to go ahead and process work permit extension who is pushing me for work permit extension. My current work permit is set to expire end of next month. Now I am relieved.
