lol you're not alone, that has become a habit for me as well!

This a duplicate to what I have just posted in the main area.. but I'm sure one of you can let me know what you did. Thanks bunches!!!

..we are doing a US Outland application and finally have everything together!! ..but I cannot find information anywhere in the Guides or Appendix B, or here on this forum, about what (if anything) should be on the back of the 4 immigration photos for my husband and son. We used epassportphoto.com and have great pictures printed to the photo specifications on Appendix B, but there is no date printed on the back of the photos. Do we need the names of the people? date of birth? date of the photo? on each picture or only on one?

Many many thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide!
Annie

I have little spin outs. I check the processing times (yet again, I know it's not going to make it go fast but still...) and the first my brain sees is "35 days", I get excited and then read the page and see that it's outland and not inland......D'oh! I'll take 6months over 12 months for 1st stage. But I do wish it was 35 days. As of tomorrow, I'm with out a job (visa expires on the 21st). even with the information off the CIC site, my employer wouldn't take the chance of implied status.

I have a new motto in life "oh well".

I have mailed the application Yesterday (At LAST!!!)
Glad to join you guys.
Sharona ;D

Hi Annie!

I had the same question...I ended up writing my name, bday and the date the picture was taken on the back of one of the 8 photos I had to send. I don't know what is the right way to do it since I couldn't find any information about it either, I searched around here but didn't find a definite answer. (Ours is an outland application aswell but the VO is London)
Good luck :)

What a feeling!!!! Sent our package off to Mississauga today... feels like a huge leap forward 8) (It is supposed to arrive there on Friday.) So much time and energy went into getting that 3 pounds of paper together, now I wonder what I will do with all the time on my hands LOL. Let the waiting begin.................

love to all,
Annie

Hello!! Just sent our file today!!! Yeah!!! It should reach Mississauga Friday! I am so happy that it is all done! :D :D Now.....waiting time! Fingers crossed! Good luck to all November applicants. PS: Can I please be added to the thread? Thanks.

I sent our package off a few weeks ago but I am not sure how to check that it has arrived. I payed the fees online and I am trying to use that receipt number but no luck so far.

well you can check it by canada post with the tracking number they gave you and if you asked for a signature or if you had a tracking number from any post you did it .It will say the application was delivered .That how I knew mine reached Mississauga as I used the tracking number for canada post.

Hey jktokyo,

the receipt number doesn't usually work until you get approved as a sponsor. So for now, if you have sent it with registered post, it's probably the only way to know if it has arrived or not. If you sent it from outside of Canada, you probably have a tracking number - you can follow on the national website first, and once the package has left your own country, with the same tracking number you should be able to track it on Canada Post website.
Other than that - you might get lucky and get an AOR ( Acknowledgement of Receipt) from Mississauga when they open the package, but most applicants don't, and the first time you hear from them is when you get the sponsorship approval.
Good luck with your application,
Sweden
