Hi Jainanchal,

I just checked my own ecas this morning and was shocked that my sponsorship application section has been removed. I called CIC immediately and they just gave me a good news that my application to sponsor has been approved and i should be getting the letter soon. The guy i spoke with said they are updating the site.......let keep our fingers cross. It is well.

Ms malawi, can you please update my info on the spreedsheet.

Application received: 16/11/2012
Meds done: 22/10/2012
Sponsorship approved : 31/01/2013

Thank you.
FRT

Hello FRT, thanks for the info, let me give them a call too and ask...same thing did happen with me too...and I will update you all after the phone call...

so as per the phone call, they said, wait for another week or so....possibly a technical glitch on their systems....

at times I wonder, I don't think they should have glitches like this...on a website site that is being heavily used WORLD-WIDE :)

Here is a link to the operational manuals that cic employees are supposed to follow when they work on the applications. Has every type of application. Lots of reading for anyone who has time on their hands. I got the link from someone else here on the forums but I can't remember what forum,,,ooops. well credit to them for posting it in the first place,

Happy Monday Everyone!

Haven't checked the forum in a while - glad to see everyone's app is moving smoothly!

Still no updates for us yet... still waiting (impatiently) for London to give us any news.

Have a happy week everyone!

boy oh boy this wait for second stage approval is the worst by far.... i think it feels so much longer because we don't get to hear anything at all for such a long time. it will be 2 months this weekend that my husband has been approved for sponsorship, so that leaves us with 8 months to wait according to the cic website's processing times for the LA office. still wish i had written proof of my application being sent off to LA but i guess i'll never get that now lol. this wait feels so long that i'm beginning to forget we even have an application in process lol. on eCAS, does anyone know what it should say next? after it's already said "application received and medical results received", what comes next? in process? and does that mean that the visa office has just begun processing my permanent residency application?
