Welcoma aboard!!

Well, you can send me a Message Inbox with the dates or write it here.
To access the spreadsheet to know what are the dates we need, click on the link under this message, where it says Nov.

Cheers!

I get an error message when trying to send personal messages, so I will post here.
My application was sent to Vegerville, AB.
I did my FBI background check in October and my medicals in early November. Don't remember the exact dates.
They received it on November 26, 2012.
They started processing the application for sponsorship on January 16, 2013.

As soon as you've made 10 posts, you will be able to send private messages.

Oh yeah, that's true. You need to have at least 10 post before you can send personal messages. I forgot to tell you that.
canadianthrower, was the Sponsorship Approved on Jan 16, 2013 or they started to process it?
And you are probably doing it Inland, right?

Thanks.

As your application is being processed inland through Vegreville it takes longer for Stage 1
According to the link below they are processing applications for Oct

I've seen that. Just worried that they started processing in January and haven't heard anything since. Most of all, I am needing my OWP so I can help my husband with expenses and this waiting game is getting to me. It says 6 months and it has now been 7. I check the processing times every week when they update and they haven't moved from October 8th in over 2 months. Does anyone know if that means everyone is being delayed an extra two months or not?

I am just going crazy being unable to work and help my husband out.

Well, I know Sonioun has also applied from Inland, and they haven't gotten Sponsorship Approval yet as well... =/
I hope they start to move faster. Good luck.
And on the bright side, you are beside your man! =) I really really miss mine... =/

so my day started with receiving a copy of our GCMS notes....only to discover that it says my husband got PPR on May 8. He never received it :( despite checking email and junk mail folder religiously. We have emailed CPP Ottawa but have little confidence we will hear back. I will call our MP tomorrow to see if there is anything he can do. ....we all hear of this type of poopola with CIC but never think it will happen with our file >:( We are really bummed to think that we got the PPT request two months ago and now we are pretty much at a loss as to what to do...

So after submitting the FBI clearance and paying the landing fee sent everything by July 4th....now they sent my hubby a email saying his application is at the stage where he needs to submit medical.

Thing is we sent medical in from October last yr the application got sent November.

I just feel like this whole thing is getting drawn out :-(

I hear you on not being able to help out. It is a test of out strength and we are only going to become stronger because of it. Dont worry each day is on day closer.

Try asking your original doctor to resubmit your file electronically. They changed the law April 1, 2013 to have all medicals submitted electronically. I had the worst of luck with my medical I waited until Nov 1 to get mine done and the law changed midnight October 31 that you have to wait to be invited by CIC. So I did mine April 15, well it then took 6 weeks for them to submit because of software problems with the new electronic submission. It seemed like when it came to my medical I just had to laugh because there was always some hiccup. Just ask your doctor to resubmit they should have it on file for 1 year. It might take time to upload into the system or else you ciuld pay fees for a new one done I the electronic format.
