Well, i'm back from canada... unfortunately. it was the best two weeks of my life. we went to toronto and niagara falls which were both first for me. i'm missing my husband to death right now though... and i'm wondering how many more times i will have to say good bye, and i;m trying to convince myself that this time was the last time and that by the next time i see him we will already be done with this long painful process... i have heard no word from immigration from the time i was gone until today. also no change on my eCAS.... here's to another week of waiting i guess : (

Hey , how long did it take for it to change?

Hi Lena 1984,

It took right about four months from the time I was notified of spousal approval and actually got a file number to the "decision made" being changed. My status never said, "in process." Got COPR three days after status change.

TODAY, our ECAS status changed from Application Received to In Process!!!!!

It's HUGE encouragement for my wife and I. After feeling so helpless and blind until now, hearing nothing, no new updates, it's absolutely revitalizing for us! God is so good, even when we think He's sitting on His hands!

Anyways, we're praying our 2nd package of relationship evidence will be the push we need to speed this up and to bring back some time we feel we have lost in this process.

Sponsorship approval took 3 months instead of the forecasted 40 days or so. It took almost a MONTH for our papers to get to the Embassy. AND, our papers basically sat collecting dust from Mar 11th to May 30th!!

We thought we were praying hard up to this point, it's only STARTING!

Let's keep the train goin!

Congradulations on going into process well don't feel bad I got sponsorship approval in dec and our application hasn't even gone into process yet nor any updates.

TODAY, our ECAS status changed from Application Received to In Process!!!!!

Since then we haven't heard anything, and we're at the Beijing office, which is supposed to be relatively quick I think. We haven't received any email since the stage 2 AOR, and ECAS still shows application received.

There seems to be nothing we can do but wait. They say not to do a case specific enquiry until after the average processing time. The call center page says they can't give any status information when the application is at the visa office. Should I call the call center or make an enquiry? I'm worried the application is just stuck waiting for something, but we haven't received any requests.

I don't know if all the VO's work the same way but I emailed my VO in Sao Paulo last Friday asking for any information on my application and they replied to me today saying it is going to start being pre-analyzed this week!
This was good news enough to cheer me up!

So they're just acknowledging that the have it, and your medical results.
A lot of people on here have said that their ECAS never ends up changing to In Process, they just end up getting their PPRs

Checked eCAS this morning.... A DECISION HAS BEEN MADE!!! I know its a yes i just know it!!!! How long til i get my letter in the mail?!?! Im so excited i cant even put it into words!!!!

@erinblaak - WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! We can all empathize and be excited for you!!! My wife and I are waiting for this surreal feeling of FINALLY having all we need to be together in the proper context NEXT to each other!! Hopefully it'll be ultra fast, maybe on its way now!
