November 2011 applicants

Hey Guys,

Congratulations to those who have got their Visas, Passport requests and approvals.

CIC, New Delhi has requested additional documents from my spouse and she has forwarded them on 29th March. We have not heard anything since then. Is anybody in a similar situation? Please share your experiences.

dinmab, Jax2k3 - Have you got any updates? Because we are in similar situation and all of us are waiting to hear from New Delhi office.

Is ‘Speedpost' in India fast enough and reliable to send documents to New Delhi office?

speedpost is fast and good enough to send documents to New Delhi office, But I had send mine via blue dart courier as tht provides best service if anything went wrong in your shipment. Since Speedpost is by Postal department, i didnt wanted to send it through it, If incase something happens then it is tough to handle govt officials.

Hi i am new here! I have started my application on November 2011 and so far everything it's going good but I am really stressed because I miss my husband so much... I applied outbound from Mexico and they asked for my police certificate on march, right now has been already 7 weeks they received it but I haven't got news... Do you know how long should I be waiting for??

SBDelhi, thanks for replying. My spouse sent documents through speed post but we confirmed the delivery online. Next time we will see if we can try blue dart.

Have you or your spouse used Speedpost in India to send documents to CIC? What is your experience?

Hi,
We used speedpost, and wasn't too sure how much it cost. My wife is the one who mailed it in, as i told her... doesn't matter the cost. Whatever it takes to us back together.

hello everyone my ecase shows that we recieved ur application on nov 2011 and we started peocessing ur application on feb and i submitted my passports in feb am lil concern that i submitted my medicals along with my application but my ecase never states that medical recieved it stays still in process .i also paid around 1100$canadian online when i submitted my application .it has been almost 2.5 months since it says in process .any suggestion will help am getting heart attack as every body in the forum is saying that my status changed to Mr from in process

Don't worry about it. The e-cas does not seem to be always up-to-date. In my case, my e-cas status still shows as 'Application received' but we have submitted passports and some additional documents in Feb/March. The information on e-cas is very inconsistant and I think it varies from person to person.
