Don't worry about it. The e-cas does not seem to be always up-to-date. In my case, my e-cas status still shows as 'Application received' but we have submitted passports and some additional documents in Feb/March. The information on e-cas is very inconsistant and I think it varies from person to person.

it has been 2 months already, and no word from CIC. Just have to wait and see what happens...

yes, more than 2 moths but no news from CHC ND> dont know when our time will come. but i believe that it should be soon. till then keep your fingers crossed.

Hello,
I am sponsoring my husband from outside Canada.

Medical done 7 November 2011.
Application received on 16 December 2011.
Sponsor approved and file send to VO on 8 February 2012.
VO is Bucharest, Romania (official processing time 6 months) Nothing for same time.
Then Status Changed on 11 may 2012 to "medical received".
Since Then nothing....

I was wondering what will be next:'
- in process
- they will send the letter asking for the passport
- DM
And after you see in your file " medical received" until next step how long is the waiting?

yeah thnxxx everyone i'm really excited but i have logged in and ecas show still same and what is normally time for to have back passport and is there some chance of rejection after PPR ?

Usually it takes up to 2 weeks until you get your passport back with visa. After that no more issues. WELCOME TO CANADA At the airport is fast and after PPR no rejection.

PS. ecas will change (they did not updated yet) no worrys.

Still waiting for the status change on CIC website. Still says "In progress", but we had the medical done in Sept 2011. Of course the doctor didn't hand in the medical til March 17, 2012. So any idea how much longer? My wife send her passport in Feb 2012... so taking too long .

my status is

Medical results have been received.

chc new Delhi request for my passport on 6th march i submitted on 7th march after that they require more documents which i submitted on 29th march 2012 .
my cases take longer than the 6 months. is There still be checks to complete once the passport is received?
Because they require more documents(past divorce petition and judgement) which i submitted on 29th march 2012. When the documents were requested they given the last date (7 may) to submit the papers.

What will happens next?
is the file will continue to be process?
any divorce applications for spouse visa?

hey everyone. So I logged into CIC to check the status of the application, still says In Progress... but they have posted my wives address for mailing address. Does this mean anything? Nothing says about medical being recieved. I am hoping this is a sign that we are getting the visa soon.

Same here I logged into my ECAS last night using my own UCI# i'm the applicant I notice that I had my mailing address on it too plus In Process, for me it's a good sign. Because i've been seen Application Recieved since January till June 7, 2012 using my sponsor's ECAS . I'm hoping there still another changes on our ECAS next week.

Same goes for me! dont know what is this all about! Generally they do this and give DM in weeks time. but now I am seeing many applicants got address highlighted. Hope they have not done for just doing sake, May ND gives decision to all of us,

I send my paper on nov 22 and my husband got a call for an interview on june 7th and on the same day he got his visa!!!! its been 6 month and 2 weeks from Rabat Morroco!!!!!!!!! Finally its done and i have to thank this forum for all the help!!!!!!!
