You must get Acknowledgement receipt and payment receipt in your MYCIC account, may be something is wrong with CIC website wait this week and if you dont see anything you need to contact CIC.
But do not worry if payment is successful you are good.

Hi admin,

From the spreadsheet, there are two applicants named gayathrik and james who are marked in red and is shown as rejected. Could you please tell the reason of their rejection? What could it be, as although it shows they are having enough points.

They notified about their rejection in Whatsapp groups. If I'm not mistaken, James had an issue with the changing in the points grid. He believed he had enough points to apply with 5 years of work experience, which gave him 15 points before NSOI changed it to reflect FSW's grid. As he wasn't able to provide evidence of 6 years, he was rejected. Gayathrik, on the other hand, got his IELTS expired and still hadn't seated for a new examination when his case was analyzed.

This is where married ppl have advantage, they may be short on experience but they will get points for adaptability. I guess nova Scotia encourages ppl to apply with their families. This has worked in my circumstances

Having enough points does not mean that your application can not be refused.

Do not forget before reaching the assessment stage of point calculation your application must need to fulfill condition of Eligibility criteria And meet the minimum requirement of STEP 1. And if your application fails NSOI is not going to Step 2 to assess your points.

Let say your application reached to Step 2 to assess your points but To get all required points your documents must show relevant information to score enough points. If you have 5 years work experience it does not mean they will assign you points for 5 years, if your documents does not reveal enough information like your working hours, salary etc.. you will not get points.

You submitted your IELTS but its expired and you dont have updated IELTS you will not get points
You say you have technical degree but As per canadian equivalency if WES reports says its a diploma you will get points as diploma.

So there are many factors for refusal or rejection other than the points assessed by you
