Hello, this is my first time at the forum. How long should i have waited for my passport to return with visa stamping. They said this is the final step. They requested my passport and my medical examination last august 24, 2013 via email. And i submitted last september. 9, 2013 together wiith some proof that ive done my medical exam at st lukes. And everytime i checked my at ecas they dont found my application at their system. Im a little bit worried since that was already two months ago . Are any here with the same experience that I have ? :'(

Ok thanks...
I guess my wife is going to have to fly to Manila to get her medical done... She lives in palo leyte and I don't see a canadian immigration approved doctor there.
One more hurdle ...

Best of luck with your application process

Keep in touch

Rich

There is only 1 accredited clinic for medicals and that is St Lukes. I did mine in UN Ave Manila, but they also accept in their Global City, Taguig branch. BTW< I replied on the thread you started regarding Typhoon Yolanda. :)

medicals are only valid for one year ... anything over than one year you have to re-do it ... im guessing same goes with your nbi clearance .. its only valid one year from date of issuance

yea but the thing is..they didnt request nbi clearance when i took my 1st medical exam...they asked me to have it before my 2nd medical exam..so why do i need to take a medical exam last 2012 if they knew it will take another year to process application? i asked them why but no reply :) anyway im done with the 2nd medical exam...

thanks for the time :)

what's the standard processing time for your case? I mean what category are you applying under? Isn't the NBI clearance included in your initial application checklist? or did it expire together with your 1st medical exam? or did it expire together with your 2nd medical exam?

well glad ur done with your 2nd med... let's hope for the best :D goodluck

hi dear you are not the only experiencing this horrible waiting for the unknown we are on our 9th month already we submitted our app, last june of 2013 and received email that we were approved last july of 2013, its very frustrating that they dont respond immediately to enquiries, and sad to say we dont have any idea if are application is moving forward to the next level, or if they are actually working on it, very unfair to those who filed the sponsorship with their PR status , very disappointing for the 14 mos processing time! Can we write for a petition to canadian immigration to notify the manila visa office to speed up the process and decrease the backlog??? We should file for a petition to manila visa office or higher authorities on this matter! Thanks and godbless and goodluck to all of us who are getting impatiently waiting!
