I am unemployed at the moment but I am seeking employment for my husband in Canada because the processing time is shorter compared to regular processing..at the moment we are waiting for our nomination in Manitoba..but we are taking other options of looking for job offer..my husband is an oFw.

Thanks God, I received email from CIC requiring me to get my medical exam. Very excited. will go to Cebu Doctors clinic to do the medical exam four days from now. Need to get myself ready.

GOOD EVENING. I SUBMITTED MY WP APPLICATIOAN VIA AIR 21 LAST JUNE 22, 2013, AND I HAVEN'T GOT ANY RESPONSE SINCE THEN, EVEN MEDICAL OR INITIAL RESPONSE FROM THE CANADIAN EMBASSY. Wow..thats quite long already. Where did u apply from? If your processing is still under the indicated timeframe from the country u applied from then u dont have to worry. Do u consistently check ur emails and all?they might be sending u updates already. It could have gone to ur junk mails. Just keep an eye on ur mail. R u sending follow up emails to the correct email address?

There must be a reason behind it. Did u get confirmation from the courier?why not check with them first.?

Hi I applied here in the Philippines. after a courier (air 21) picked up my application, i haven't heard from them up til now, don't have tracking number, But the call center ( PIASI) That I called gave me a ref #. Would this help if I call air 21?

They might.. i suggest u make a follow up first with the courier rather than going to the embassy directly. You might be asking them questions that they dont have answers to. I hope u are aware that LMO has expiration. If your application didnt reach embassy then maybe at this time ur lmo has already expired which will result to rejection of ur application.

Is your employer aware? Are they willing to wait this long?

We were 4 Pinoys and 2 Caucasians.

It takes 5 mimutes I guessed to have my permit.

If you are Calgary get your flight directly there.
Don't fly in in thru Vancouver.
It will have long line with many applicant with immigrant visa.
Just like my co-worker here it takes him 2 hours before he got in to the counter.

But it will be really fine whatever province you want for your POE.
Really doesn't matter as long as you are in Canada.

Its still cold here.
Though there is no snow already.

Your lucky the time you are here.
It will be spring. Wow!!

Congrats! Calgary ka pala. tapos na ako sa Medical ko. Passed na ang status sa Medical sa MyCIC ko yesterday March 17, 2014. I hope passport na ang sunod, hopefully this week. By the way, sino ang sagot sa accomodation mo? sa bahay na tinitirhan mo?sino ang nghanap ng bahay or room? mgkano ang rent ng room?
