I'm not trying to appear to be a jerk or anything but can we please go easy on the whole religion issue. Not everyone using this site is Christian or religious for that matter. In fact, some of us totally eschew religion at all costs because we have sufficient reason not to believe in it. Canada is a country where everyone recognizes that different people have different beliefs and things like worship and prayer are kept out of the workplace and public events. Therefore, let's get some practice with it on this chat. Thank you.

I'm actually not offended by your post but some other people on this chat or in your workplace might have a problem with it. That's the only reason why I pointed it out. It would be really sad to land in Canada, start working and then end up getting written up for mentioning God in the workplace (I've actually seen this happen before). Anyway, thanks for cooperating with my request.

I'm glad that you got approved for a work permit and I hope that everything goes well at the port of entry. I wouldn't worry about the port of entry. Once you've been cleared by CIC and have your letter of introduction/approval (yes those are the same thing), they'll let you through without question since CIC has more stringent standards than CBSA.

Also, you need to bring all your documents with you at the border. They probably won't ask to see each and every one of them, but just bring them on the off chance that they do. What CBSA would mainly want to see is your LMO, letter of introduction, job offer and signed contract. They only really need those to determine the length of your work permit. But still, carry everything else because they might just ask.
