Note: If you are applying under one of the 29 eligible occupations, as of July 1, 2011, a maximum of 10,000 Federal Skilled Worker applications will be considered for processing in the following 12 months. Within the 10,000 cap, a maximum of 500 federal skilled worker applications per eligible occupation will be considered for processing each year.


as we all are rushing thinking that only 500 application will be accepted this year;according to this what i understand is they wil accept 1000 application per occupation but wil entertatin 500 this year.rest wil be entertained in next year. what say ?

wrong interpretation.

they will only take 10,000 applications nd within that 500 applications max per occupation...if you make the 500 in your NOC but are over 10,000 you wont be processes...if you make the 10,000 overall but are over 500 for your occupation, you wont be processed... From 1st july-2011 till 31st June-2012...

hope its clear to you now. by the way where is the 1000 figure in CIC's statement???
