Not submitting medicals for spouse [Post ITA]

Hello all,

I'm in a bit of a situation, I received ITA in the last draw and preparing docs since then but one thing is causing me a lot of problem and that's the upfront medical. They gave me a late date and since my wife is pregnant and need to travel ASAP for her treatment, I am thinking of not submitting her medical with PR application and explain in LOE and submit medical after delivery.

Medical isn't an option right now because she lives in a city from where the nearest medical center is 2~3 hr drive one way, plus 3~4 hrs medical. She can't go about travelling, walking and waiting this long.

I hope my situation is clear and someone will be able to help.

I suggest you to raise a *can't remember what it's called* "card" right now to inform them about your (rather your wife's) situation as why an upfront medical test is not possible for her. If you send incomplete file and later tell them about this, it might delay everything further.
If I were you, I would inform IRCC ASAP.

Thanks for your reply. I'm currently at the stage where you fill forms for afyer receiving ITA and before uploading documents. Is there an option to "raise a card" after you fill the forms and system generates fields for uploading documents?.

I'm sorry, I am not that far in with my application. Still waiting for ECA, but you must still inform them before you do anything different from their demands.
Someone else might answer this better than me. Keep looking.
