Hello everyone,
my study permit was approved on the 13th of June and since then I waited 6 weeks without receiving anything from the mail. I was told that after 6 weeks we can call CIC and ask for a re-printing and so I did, hoping it may only be one lost letter or whatever. Now it's been more than two weeks that I asked for the second document and nothing. I checked the address with the CIC and it's correct. I was also told you cannot ask for another print and you have to apply for a sostitutive document by mail after other 6 weeks. I need my permit to be here before then and I have no idea what to do other than hoping it will arrive on time.
Does anyone know if it should take that long to receive the letter, people told me it should only take one week max, and I'm really in need of receiving it and I don't know what to do. Can anyone help???
Any info would be appreciated thanks
PS I applied from inside Canada, Calgary AB, to be specific (still have the Visitor visa valid but I need the study permit before September anyways)
