Hi,

We landed in Calgary Canada on 03 July 2014 and completed our landing formality as part of immigration process. We were told that PR cards will be sent to us in 3-4 weeks. We gave a local address (of my sister in calgary). Its been almost 60 days and we still did not receive our PR cards. Want to know if any others are facing the same situation as us. Since we work in US, we had to come back after 15 days.

While in canada, we applied or Alberta Health service card and we already received it in 3 weeks. The PR cards is yet to come. At this point we do not know what to do. I tried finding phone numbers on CIC website and the number they have listed is not in service. I do not know what else to do. Can anyone guide/help us with this issue.

My wifes PR card took like 2 to 3 months. So bit back and relax, it is coming.

A good idea is to check the current processing times for PR cards: ~36 calendar days.

And if you live inside Canada, and its been longer than the expected time, you may get more details by calling the call centre:
Call Centre telephone number: 1-888-242‑2100

We landed on the 11th of July, and called them on Friday, they said we should receive it within the next week. But anywhere between 1-3 months is normal.
