If my spouse cannot get a reference letter for his work experience, for the question "Does X have any work history?" If I answer No (even though he has been working full time in Canada for a year) will this be a problem?

I want to get my profile ready asap- I am due to get a PNP nomination soon so extra points aren't an issue- and I want to ensure as soon as I get an ITA I can submit my profile and not be held up trying to prove claims I made in my EE profile.

Hiding from CIC and immigration officers is always a bad idea.

If you are creating a EE profile to claim points, you only have to put in experiences that matters (meaning those in 0,A,B and/or experiences after graduation). You will need to provide references for everything you put here.

If you already have ITA and is preparing for work history/declaration, you have to put in everything. In this section, since it's only a declaration, they are not asking for any proof or refs (it's not being counted for points or eligibility) unless they find any suspicions.
