Not getting full GIC installments.....

This is wrong....We paid $10,100. An extra $100 for GIC deposit and now we are not even getting full $2000 installments/ 2 months. My first installment has $15 deducted. Its $1985. I dont know why this is happening..Its already so damn costly here in Ontario.

it shouldn't be like this. Did you check with Scotia for deduction? Check your statement online and I think you would have received 2K but then this should be something else, this $15.

This $100 extra you talking about is processing fee.

then it's something else. You got to talk to them to figure it out. Call the helpline number on the back of your debit card and you will know what is it for?

It doesn't buddy. It's just the first phase of settling down which really sucks for all who do not have people to receive and help settling down. It does Take time, but then you become part of it one day.

lol every one has this idea that after the visa is done they r set ..but when faced with the real situation things dont seem to be so rosy. As reality sinks in dreams shatter. But dont worry this is just the initial stage once college starts and u make friends u will get used to it. Its not easy but now that ur in it u have to make it through. U will stop worrying about that conversion rate eventually .

Humber - IT Solutions post graduate...I hate Etobicoke houses....and old area....travelling on the buses alone...feels really bad...lookin at people around....shitty feeling...!!
