Hi all, Can this be done? I have a LOI for the IEC Working holiday from 2016 with the activation date set to expire in May. If I do not activate it, can I re-apply for the same 24 month visa in 2017? I am aware that I will not be refunded, that doesn't matter, I just want to know if ill be able to start the process again in 2017 and still be eligible and hopefully get a new LOI for 2018. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Even if you don't activate the visa - this still counts as one participation.

Whether you can apply again depends on your country of origin. Some countries allow multiple participations (in the same or different categories) and some don't.

In that case you can participate again in the future but only through the co-op program. You've used up your non-co-op participation.
