I’m not able to link my application at due to the issue of the city of birth.

I’ve tried upper case, lower case and even found my COPR to make sure what I entered was correct but still didn’t work.

Call IRCC and the agent confirmed with me that my city of birth on file was left blank! She then suggested me to leave it blank or just enter a space but both didn’t work as city of birth is required field.

Fill in webform twice, with the copy of my passport but what I’ve got were 2 copy and paste model answer without answering my question.

I desperately want to link my application because I’ve already waited for almost 6 weeks for my PR card renewal, instead of calling the hotline again and again wasting my time, I really want to check the application status online by myself.

Can anyone suggest me what to do, or what can I write/ submit to IRCC to get them solve the issue?

More reliable suggestion - reach out to your MP and see if they can convince IRCC to update the city of birth on your file.

Less reliable but maybe faster - get your GCMS notes electronically (say via email), and see if you can figure out how city of birth is entered there. E.g. is it maybe two or three spaces instead of just one? But if it truly is blank (zero spaces) then this may be a dead end.
