From the recent activity by cic, it looks like they are going with the test date. I guess if you are July 21st test taker, your call will be coming next week if everything is good on your file.

Thanks drunkhead!!
I also hope so. Waiting is a killer.
Now I know, patience is a virtue.

Hello luckyme649... thanks for your help... I got my ATIP response today... I think I have been granted citizenship and in queue for oath... But not really sure.. Can I send you personal email with my notes and you can do a quick read of the first two pages to confirm? It will be really helpful.

Did you apply for ATIP under Privacy Act (Free of Charge) or Access to information Act ($5 charge)?

Thank you.

Guys,

How long was the oath ceremony? Did they give out the certificate to each person one at a time?

Hi,

I have question about the citizenship test and interview, did they take your PR card during the interview? They just looked at mine, but didn't take it. But I heard from one of my friend that they took his PR card during the interview.

Should I be worried about this? Does it indicate that I will get RQ???

I did my test on August 6th and yes they looked at my PR card but they never took it.

I would assume you hand it in as you receive your citizenship certificate..... or when you send off for passport. Otherwise, there is a period of a few months depending on when you get called for oath where you will not be able to travel.
