Normal Processing Times from Calgary office?

Hi

My neighbours who are a 2011 applicants , got Rqed in 2012 , took their test on 28th October , got their oath letter in 2nd week of November to take the oath on 18th of Dec.

Thanks for sharing the info! What month did they apply in 2011 and in which month they got RQ in 2012? in other words, how many months later they got the RQ after they applied? any idea?

They applied in Sep 2011 . got RQed in Dec 2012 . They contacted their MP's office (Stephen Harper) in October 2014 which told them that their case will be processed within a month or so . And it happened exactly in the same way .

oh man! that is insane.. It took more than a year just to get RQed. Was there an obvious reason to get RQed? complicated case??

Dont think so ! May be it was random . The only reason I could think was that they travelled atleast thrice to their home country .

I think this is a rare case coz I have a friend who applied early 2013 got RQ in early 2014 n got test in may2014 N got oath in June 2014 so dear please don't worry we will all go thru this process easily

I know!!I just don't understand why it takes a year to be flagged for RQ. They should have been notified earlier ..

Did my test today. Got 18 out of 20 . Took almost 1hour to verify documents. One lady was not allowed to do the test with us at 10.30am because she forgot to bring her old passport, luckily there was a test to be done at 1.30pm, so she was told to go bring it and come for the afternoon test. Good luck to u guys that have test coming up

So I guess all of us will be getting a test notice in Jan. By now all of dec should've been booked.
