Normal Processing Times from Calgary office?

Can people who recently received test invitations from CIC to confirm the month of your application please?

I called CIC and they confirmed my file was received in June transferred to Calgary in October. I asked what month Calgary is calling for tests at this time, but he did not know.

So far I haven't seen any 2014 Calgary applicant getting the test notification .

Guys correct me if I am wrong .

You are wrong, Let me correct you that........so far most of 2013 didn't receive Test notification........not sure what August changes(recent changes as part of citizenship act) effected....per my observation no one reported test notification in past few months.

The LOT date is important to determine test date. Some files have to sit at Sydney very long for background clearance. I dont know what month CIC Calgary is calling for tests now.

I am also waiting for the test I am also preparing my supporting documentation just in case.

I have some questions related to CSBA report. I have realized that I am missing some of the Canada entry stamps on my OLD and NEW passports.

1. Do I really need CSBA report at the citizenship test?. Or the CIC is checking my CBSA reports for for me, i should not worry about that?
2. CIC is checking all the passport? or just latest one?
3. Which office is checking the CBSA reports? Sidney or Calgary one?

Hi, based to my knowledge:
1. Do I really need CSBA report at the citizenship test?. Or the CIC is checking my CBSA reports for for me, i should not worry about that?
==> You don't have to bring it because CIC will check your CBSA report provided that you checked the checkbox on the application that says " you give permission to CIC to get your CBSA report" . I personally got a copy for my own records to make sure that my entry dates match what I indicated in the application. So I would recommend you to do so to avoid any surprise. You don't have to do, though.
2. CIC is checking all the passport? or just latest one?
==> All passports. Also, If you have any non-English or french stamps, I recommend you to translate them.
3. Which office is checking the CBSA reports? Sidney or Calgary one?
==>Calgary
I just noticed that your timelines are the same as mine. So we may get invited for the test in the same day or week . So keep me informed if you hear anything from CIC please.

I noticed some people in different discussions say before the test and others say after. so it depends on the officer and how complicated your case is.

So if they are calling Feb-March 2014 for test now, there is a 8 month time lapse from LOT to test for Calgary for typical routine apps.
