when were waiting for an update on our application, what does GCMS notes give us exactly?
Hello everyone, been watching this thread but I'm growing very desperate amidst my situation. To summarize, my recent timeline is:
June 15: ADR
June 20: Documents submitted and review started.
June 22: Background check started (according to the tracker)
Nothing since then. I'm a Fall intaker and I only have a month left. I don't know if I should concern myself over this or not. Any advice or recommendations (good or bad) will be appreciated!!!

I have applied for a student Visa and completed Biometrics on the 10th of May. Yesterday was 12 weeks waiting. Has anyone been waiting longer? my nerves are finished because I am supposed to start school in September

Do I need to apply through Privacy Act instead of Access to Information Act?

Eligibility: in progress(GCKey acc), Completed(tracker)
Background check: In progress both in tracker and GCKey account
Somehow the processing slowed after medical update. I forgot to submit the "Schedule 1 - Application for a Temporary Resident Visa Made Outside Canada (IMM 5257)" form when I submitted my application. should I send this via webform or wait for them to ask me or is it unimportant(says in GCKey account "we don't need additional docs")? anybody with similar experience? any help is appreciated.

Post that there's no update (as on 3 Aug) been 3 weeks
Have raised 3 webforms since 21 July:
1st: 21 July - Delhi office - No reply (just automated)
2nd: 28 July - Bangalore office - No reply (just automated)
3rd: 3 Aug - Delhi office - automated reply and after 10 hours got a mail stating:
Dear Client,
Please be advised that your medicals are valid till 13/7/2024 further you may check your MyCIC account to further know the status of your application.
