Hello everyone, can someone explain how to do the medical upfront? Is it worth doing upfront?

Timeline:
Applied : 24th August 2021(online)
Biometrics request: 25th August 2021
Biometrics done/updated: 30th August 2021
Eligibility : Not started

Waiting for an update at-least for a medical request. Not sure why it takes so long.
Upfront medical should be done before you submit your application

Not really :) Can get medicals done anytime.
I lodged my non-SDS app on 15 Aug 2021.
Kept waiting for the medical request letter.
Booked medical appointment without IRCC request letter and uploaded results via a webform.
More details in my timeline. :)

Use this link to find the panel physician closest to you: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx
Book an appointment with them.
Tell them you will be applying for a study permit.
Get the medicals done, and ask for your reports (Additional charges applicable).
Once you get the report (3-7 days), submit it along with your other docs when lodging non-SDS file.
Thank you very much for the reply. I think it's too late for me to do the medical upfront as I have already submitted my application.
