Could you kindly give any suggestions, What would be the ideal next step? Should I raise a webform with IRCC? If yes, what should I write in it, and what steps should I follow?

Looks like your application has forwarded to local visa office for Final decision as your application is almost 90% approved. You have met all eligibility criteria . Wait for few more weeks and you will get passport request.

Final decision- 1st oct 2025
Still waiting for PPR as i am Outland applicant

Tried everything reached MP , raised webforms , called IRCC , ordered GCMS notes 3 times and its says file approved and authorized for landing

And now its been 42 weeks my copr details on tracker and medical validity both expired

I cant afford lawyers fees so what i have to do what step i can take more if available please suggest

When i hear issues like this it scares me, I also applied in April 2024 without any military background, no travel history, no visa application to any country. This is my first time applying for something close to Visa. My pre arrival was since Sept 2025. Indeed everyone's application process is different.

What is your country of origin? Citizens of certain countries are much more likely to have comprehensive screenings. Pre-arrival is purely procedural and is sent at any point after eligibility. The name creates so much confusion and should really be changed.

What steps has your MP taken?

I have reached MP 2 times and 1st she told that she contacted ircc and ask them to send a PPR request

2nd time when i reach MP she told she cannot help as i am Outland

I'm July 2024 applicant and my closed work permit (employer-specific) is expiring December 2026. My PR application is apparently in final steps (background and eligibility passed) but it has been so almost a year now. Should I start applying for extension or BOWP?

According to my MP, my background, criminality, and eligibility have all been PASSED since February 2026! Still no final decision, no P1, NOTHING...and the MP says it is within the processing time and they cannot do anything about it

my security is also PASSED! for about 4 months now.... still no FD or P1! this is ridiculous... I applied more than two years ago!

Hi guys, December 2024 inland applicant here...

Here's my timeline so far:

December 4 2024: Applied
October 20 2025: AOR
January 13 2026: ADR
January 22 2026: Documents sent
July 2 2026: ADR for my husband's military background
July 4 2026: Medical passed (exams done in Brazil in 2020 for study permit)
July 7 2026: Proof of military exemption sent
July 10 2026: We are reviewing the additional documents you provided
Final decision - July 10, 2026: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

I haven't ordered GCMS notes. Entering the 3rd week now after the final decision ghost update, haven't heard anything back after that. Does it mean they made a decision on my application? Or are they possibly still reviewing the document I sent on July 7th? @Miss bee any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Also, my PGWP expired last week. I applied for BOWP back in April and that application hasn't moved at all. My friend who applied a month after me already got hers approved. Is that because my PR is probably close to being finalized?

March 5, 2026:
MP said, "Our contacts shared all of the assessments passed, and the application was approved on February 26, 2026."
As of today, no updates! The processing time was 11 months when I applied....it has been 25 months now, AND NOTHING! 5 months of application being approved and NOTHING!
They keep increasing the processing time for July 2024 applicants...it has been about one month left for the past 7 months

Yes...Waiting even though the file is approved over 5 months ago (informed by MP)
