Hi guys,

First, thank you very much for your help in advance.

I am new to the forum and my question may have been answered:

My spouse is a Canadian citizen and I have put her non-accompanying in my answer when I received my ITA.
I have to fill up information for her section such as her addresses in the last 10 years etc...

I am confused about why the government is asking all these questions when she is a Canadian Citizen.

Did I do something wrong when answering the questions?
if no, are they going to ask me later to provide medical exam and proof of work history for her?

Thanks again and Cheers :)

I am really not sure about your case. :) However, I have friends who are Citizen today but were not 6-7years ago. They were Indian citizens. So, they want to scrutinize the background, may be. Again, that's my guess. I may be wrong :P

Thanks for taking the time to answer :)
I will wait to see if anyone had a case like that!

Thank you very very much :)
I'm relieved that they don't ask for proof of work or studies of my common law.
She may ask her brother to provide me a copy of his passport.
I'm glad that I'm not the only one dealing with this case.
Should I ask in both threads?

Cheers :)

Go ahead! Post your question as many times as you want and until you get a satisfactory answer. :)

Thanks again for your kindness.
I'm glad that I haven't received any points for PR/Canadian Siblings cause I thought I may have answered wrong like the case in the first link you have shared.
I may just have to answer the questions because of the system process and Hopefully it won't ask me for my partner's documents :)
Cheers
